Week 1 Coaching Call
Summary:
In Week 1 of our 30-Day Detox Programme, we focused on the critical role of detoxification, particularly how it relates to the colon. This week was all about understanding the colon as the body's sewer system, which is essential for eliminating toxins and maintaining overall health.
We began by exploring what detoxing is and why it’s so vital. Detoxing helps remove harmful toxins from our body, which accumulate due to poor diet, environmental pollutants, and stress. We highlighted the importance of seeing the colon as a crucial part of this process, given its role in processing and eliminating waste.
Nutrition plays a key role in this detoxification process. Good nutrition not only supports the removal of toxins but also regenerates and rebuilds our body’s cells and tissues. We discussed the dangers of poor nutrition, such as the risks of over-fermentation and putrefaction in the colon, which can lead to an increase in toxins and a range of health issues.
Additionally, we covered the four primary detoxification pathways: urination, defecation, breathing, and sweating. Each of these pathways plays a significant role in eliminating toxins and supporting overall well-being.
By the end of this week, we aimed to instill a deeper understanding of how crucial detoxing and maintaining a healthy colon are for achieving lasting health. Your journey to revitalisation continues!

Frequently Asked Questions
Detoxing helps to remove harmful toxins from the body that accumulate from diet, lifestyle, and environmental factors. A proper detox can improve gut health, support better digestion, and enhance overall well-being by flushing out waste and toxins that may cause inflammation, fatigue, bloating, and other health issues. A healthy gut is essential for maintaining a balanced immune system, energy levels, and mental clarity.
A plant-based diet is recommended because fibre from plants is crucial for feeding the good bacteria in your gut, which improves digestion and supports detoxification. The challenge encourages participants to consume at least 30 different plants weekly, which significantly boosts gut health by promoting a healthy balance of gut bacteria and improving nutrient absorption.
The liver detox tea contains ingredients like dandelion, milk thistle, burdock root, and Schisandra berry, which support liver function and help the body eliminate toxins. Drinking the tea regularly during the detox helps flush out toxins, reduce inflammation, and promote overall cellular repair. It’s recommended to follow the daily detox guide for proper use and timing.
During the detox, you may experience a range of symptoms as your body eliminates toxins. Common detox symptoms include headaches, fatigue, irritability, flu-like symptoms, and cravings. These symptoms are usually temporary and indicate that your body is adjusting. Staying hydrated, following the meal plan, and using the provided tools (e.g., liver detox tea, kimchi, daily detox actions) can help ease the process.
If you're feeling stuck, reach out for support through the WhatsApp group or attend the weekly coaching calls. The program encourages community participation for motivation and accountability. Share your struggles, ask for advice, and stay engaged with the materials provided, such as the daily detox actions and meal plans.
To maintain the benefits, continue incorporating fibre-rich, plant-based foods into your diet, stay hydrated, and practice regular detox methods such as drinking detox teas and engaging in physical activity. Building these habits during the detox program will help you sustain your energy, immunity, and overall well-being long-term.
You can track your progress using the editable journal provided as part of the program. Record your daily actions, how you feel, any changes in your body, and your thoughts about the detox. This will help you stay accountable and reflect on your progress over time.
